About This Spot

Walking into Good morning Vietnam - Fine Vietnamese Kitchen, you immediately sense a quietly earnest space where the flavors of Vietnam unfold without fuss. Nestled on Jülicher Str. in Aachen, this unpretentious spot feels like a gentle invitation to slow down from the city’s rhythm and savor something heartfelt. The modest, warmly lit interior hums softly with the low murmur of conversations, as attentive hosts, unmistakably proud of their craft, move gracefully between tables.

The pace here is unhurried, allowing the nuances of each dish to hold your attention. It’s a place where food is a story told lovingly, and every bite carries subtle layers—whether it’s the comforting warmth of a rich coconut curry or the bright, fresh marriage of herbs in a green papaya salad. Moments spent here often drift effortlessly from shared laughter over crispy duck fried rice to quiet appreciation of the aromatic broth in a steaming bowl of phở. Portions lean generous, encouraging communal enjoyment rather than rushed dining.

While the space isn’t large, it feels intimately connected — part neighborhood haunt, part cherished secret among those who seek authentic Vietnamese flavors crafted with care. The family behind the kitchen treat guests as if welcoming friends, which gently colors the experience with warmth beyond just good food.

Good morning Vietnam is a reminder that discovery isn’t always about bustling scenes or trendy facades. Sometimes it’s found in the simple pleasure of food made with love, the subtle kindness of hosts who remember your preferences, and the quiet moments that unfold naturally around the table. If you’re drawn to unpretentious authenticity and the delicate harmony of a well-lived kitchen tradition, this is a place to pause and savor.

I had an excellent experience at this Asian restaurant! The waiters were incredibly attentive and always willing to help. I even called ahead to place my order before arriving, and everything was ready on time, served hot, and tasted absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you want great food and outstanding service!

Amazing food - very delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. Generous portion. The owners are very lovely and sweet. We came back to this restaurant three days in a row - the owners very kindly accommodated us when we arrived 5 minutes before they are meant to shut. Crispy duck fried rice is highly recommended. We will be back again!

We had two appetisers (7 and 11a) they were okay, springroles was better than the shrimp. For our main course, we had 39, 53 and 62a (double duck), and the food was really good. The room was small but fitted 4 parties of 3-4 people. With space to share.

Outstanding Vietnamese food and brilliant prices. A bit out of town in a rather sketchy area but don’t be put off. It’s way better than many of the restaurants in the city centre and way cheaper. Lovely family run business and very popular with the locals.

A charming, small, family run restaurant. Some of the best spring rolls I've ever had (nr. 7 on the menu)! Prices very good, excellent food. Don't miss out, highly recommended!

We had a great experience in this tiny but cosy restaurant. The food is exquisite and the team very kind. We highly recommend and would be happy to eat there again!

Highly recommend this cozy spot! We ordered Phở Gà and Phở Bò, and both were incredibly flavorful, esp the noodle is quite similar to the ones in VietNam. We also tried the Gỏi Cuốn Chay (vegetarian spring rolls), and they were fresh and delicious! The owners are friendly and welcoming!! Loved it
